Goldenseal extract is prepared from the rhizome and rootlet of Certified Organic Hydrastis canadensis plants. To assure optimal extraction of the herb’s bioactive compounds, the rhizome and rootlets are hand-dug in the autumn, meticulously cleaned and carefully shade-dried, then thoroughly extracted.

The herb is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol for potency and to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant.
